Staff Members

Overview

This screen allows you to add, edit and remove staff from the school. It lists the members of staff, showing their job title, who they report to and their user rights.

Search

To search for a staff member, enter the details in to the Search: box and click on the Search button. It is possible to search by name, job title and user right.

Status

When editing a member of staff, they can be set to Inactive, this would be the case if they have left the school and you no longer require them to login to the system. However, their data would still be held in SchooliP.

  • Use the Status radio buttons to choose to see staff that are Active, Inactive or All staff.

  • This will filter the list of staff members showing only staff members with the status that has been chosen.

Staff Type

When editing a member of staff, they can be set to be Non Teaching Staff.

  • Select the Staff Type using the drop down list.

  • This will filter the list of staff members showing only staff members with the staff type that has been chosen.

Editing a member of staff

Click on the edit icon, next to the member of staff that you would like to edit.

Viewing a staff members diary

Click on the diary icon to view the diary for that member of staff

Viewing the Staff Summary

Clicking on the name of a member of staff will take you to the staff summary screen. This screen gives an overview of that member of staff and any reviews that are in progress.

Show Entries

Alter the drop down to select the number of entries that you would like to display per page.

First, Previous, Next & last

Use the buttons at the bottom of the screen to navigate through the pages.

Adding a member of staff

To add a new member of staff click on the Add button at the bottom of the screen.

Removing a member of staff

To remove a member of staff:-

  • Place a tick next to the member of staff to be removed.

  • Click on the Remove button at the bottom of the screen.

  • Enter a reason as to why they are being removed from the system.

Restoring a member of staff

If a member of staff has been removed in error they can be restored back to the system.

To remove a member of staff:-

  • Click on the Restore button at the bottom of the screen.

  • Select the member of staff to be restored.

  • Click on Restore.
