This section shows a list of the CPD courses / activities that have been recorded within the system.
These can be assigned to members of staff when a CPD requirement is identified by the CPD coordinator and can be viewed from the Contents menu, CPD, CPD Activities / Courses.
- To add a CPD Activity/Course, click on the + button at the top of the right-hand column.
- Enter the information for the course / activity
Details Tab
Title - enter the title for the course / activity.
Description - enter the description for the course / activity.
CPD Type - choose the type of CPD, the options are:- External Courses, Internal CPD, Mentoring, Miscellaneous Activity, School Visit.
CPD Category - if the CPD coordinator adds a course this will default to CPD Controlled.
Course cost - enter the cost of the course / activity and select whether this is a per person or per course cost. If per course is selected the cost per person will be calculated by dividing the course cost by the number of delegates.
Date/Provider Tab
Date/Provider - select the provider and the dates for the course, then click on Add
Cover tab - tick the Cover is required box is you need to add cover information. Enter the hours and cost of the cover.
Also enter any other costs for the course.
Comments Tab
Enter any comments on the course / activity.
Overall Outcome Tab
Enter the overall outcome of the course / activity. - Click on Add to add the course to the list.
To remove a course:-
- Click on the bin icon to the right of the course. This will make the course inactive.
To restore a course
- Change the Status drop down to show Inactive courses.
- Click on the restore button to the right of the course that you would like to restore.
