Overview
The Questions page lists all the questions relevant to the section of the SEF you have been selected to view. By clicking on the individual question number or the title of the question you will be able to view each individual question. Once the individual question has been opened you may answer the question, however you must have the rights to do so.
Submitting a question for approval
To submit a question for approval:-
- Select the question to be submitted.
- Click on What Next?, Submit. This option is only available if you have Answer rights for the section. This will submit the selected question for consideration for group approval. This will set the status flag to yellow.
Approving a question
To approve a question:-
- Select the question to be approved.
- Click on What Next?, Approve. This button is only available if you have Approver rights for the section.
- This will set the question as group approved, and submits the question for final Administrator approval. If you are the Administrator, then clicking Approve sets the question status to Answer Approved. This will set the status flag to green. This will also lock the SEF question, so that it can no longer be edited.
Rejecting a question
To reject a question:-
- Select the question to be rejected.
- Click on What Next?, Reject This button is only available if you have Approver rights for the section.
- Enter the reason why the question has been rejected.
Clicking this button re-sets the question to editable status so any mistakes or omissions can be rectified. This will set the status flag to black.
Setting a question to Needs Reviewing
To set a question to Needs Reviewing:-
- Select the question from the list.
- Click on What Next?, Needs Reviewing.
- This is used to reset the question status back to Needs Reviewing and therefore editable, this is so that the question can be processed through the SEF procedure again year after year. This will set the status flag to red.
Exporting and Printing questions
To print/export a section of the SEF:-
- Click on the Reports icon next to the question.
- When the preview appears, use the Generate as PDF button to download the report of this page.
