Closing a review period

At the end of the review period the review can be closed (if you have the appropriate user rights). Before a review can be closed everything within the review has to be addressed.

  • Review the objectives and change the status from In Progress, to In Progress, to Met, Not Met or Partially Met. The review cannot be closed with any objectives with the In Progress status. NOTE - incomplete Objectives can be copied or moved over to the next review period.
  • Review all Monitoring activities. Any that have not been submitted must be at this point. Any that have not taken place must be deleted at this point. The review cannot be closed with any unsubmitted or unstarted monitoring activities.
  • The Areas for Development have to be set to Completed or Not Achieved. The review cannot be closed if they are in any other status. NOTE - incomplete Areas For Development can be copied or moved over to the next review period.
  • All Standards must be rated by the member of staff or line manager or both. The review cannot be closed if any Standards remain Not Rated

To close a review:-

  • Click on What Next?, Close Review.
  • If not previously done, indicate the status of the objective - i.e. Met, Partially Met, Not Met.
  • On the Pay Progression tab (if available), indicate whether this member of staff should be recommended for pay progression and add any comments.
  • On the Final Review Notes tab (if available), leave any final notes you would like to make against the staff member's review period. This will display against the Closed Review Period within the Work Area.
  • Enter both the line manager and staff member passwords in the Staff Agreement tab.
  • NOTE: If the user has the user right "Add my Own Monitoring" then they will be able to add their own Monitoring in the Work Area.
  • To finish click Close Review.
  • To exit this screen at any time click Close.
