Overview
The areas for development that were set in the review can be seen in the portfolio. If the area for development has been identified in Monitoring, an eye icon will show next to the area for development. Click this to view the Monitoring form from which the area for development has been identified.
If you are a line manager viewing a staff member's review, you will be able to add and edit areas for development.
You can add and edit your own areas for development if the setting is turned on.
Add an area for development
- Click on the Add Area for Development button.
- Enter the detail for the area for development as detailed below.
- Development Focus - select a focus of the development from the drop down list.

- Area - identify the area that requires attention.

- Action - detail the action required to correct this.

- Status - change the status of the Area for development.

- Due Date - enter a due date for the area for development.
- Click on Add to add the Area for Development to the review.
Editing an Area for Development
- To make changes to an Area for Development click on the pencil icon on the right of the table
- Then make the changes required and then select the Save button.
Removing an Area for Development
To remove an Area for Development click on the bin icon on the right of the table. The Area for Development will then be removed from the table
Restoring an Area for Development
To restore an Area for Development click on the recycle icon on the top right of the table.
