Overview
In order for staff to carry out classroom monitoring activities they need to be set as observers.
This allows them to perform monitoring against staff within the system.
Location
Assigning staff as observers can be done from Users - Staff Members, or by clicking here.
Note that if the Users menu is not visible, rights will not have been given to see that area.
Instructions
In the Staff Members area, click the pencil next to the member of staff to set as an observer.
Scroll down to the Classroom Observer information as below.
Tick the box next to Classroom Observer to make them an observer.
Tick the box Not Observed to prevent monitoring from being added to this user.
Tick the box marked Receive all Monitoring emails to get email notifications for updates on staff members monitoring progress.
Click the Save button to save any change.
