Overview
The Areas for Development section of your review should be used for focussing on particular areas of weakness which need addressing to enhance your skill-set and knowledge of your subject area. Your line manager will have set up any such items in consultation with you at the start of your review,
Instructions
Your Areas for Development screen should look something like this:
Any area for development can be opened by clicking on the description. Depending on your user rights, you are unlikely to be able to edit this. The pop-up screen should look something like this:
Practical Task:
- Select the Areas for Development tab from your portfolio
- Click on one of the items listed
- Check you cannot edit this item
Your line manager can update the status from Not Started to either In Progress, Completed or Not Achieved. An area for development can be linked to a monitoring if appropriate.
