Overview

The activity feed shows your recent blog and evidence entries relating to your review. The most recent ones are at the top.

This feed can be filtered to only show entries linked to certain items in your review or to specific staff members.

Adding and sharing blogs is very similar to adding and sharing evidence. Whilst blogging would often just involve a user communicating information with their line manager, blogs can be shared with other colleagues depending on the user permissions. Blogs become a record of the activity of a user during the review period and complement the other information in the review.

Instructions

Blogs are added from the Activity Feed section of the Portfolio for the current review,

Practical Task:

  1. Navigate to your Portfolio page and select the Activity Feed tab
  2. From the top-bar select Add Blog
  3. Link your blog to one of the Standards listed in the Link To dropdown list after clicking in the text area.
  4. Fill in all fields on the Details tab
  5. On the Sharing tab, tick the Share with users checkbox
  6. On the Shared Users tab, tick some names to share the blog with some colleagues in this training session
  7. Click Add to save and send the blog

Check that you can see any blogs shared with you by your colleagues. These should be displayed on the Sharing Feed page. They will not be on your Activity Feed page as they are not related to your current review.
