How do I record progress in response to coaching over a review period?

Overview

One way to record progress is to create a CPD Activity, then blogs and evidence can be added throughout the year to record activities, conversations etc.

From the ‘Activity Feed’ page of the work area, you can filter to the Coaching blogs and evidence:

You may wish to add a coach to contribute to the blogs, evidence, and recording of progress. If the coach is not the person’s line manager, they can be added as a collaborator.

Firstly, you must ensure your coaches are given the collaborator user right:

To add a coach as a collaborator against the teacher being coached, you need to go to the 'Staff Summary' page of the teacher being coached and add the coach as a collaborator.

Select the coach as a collaborator:

  • Select the rights which allow the coach to view and contribute to the blogs and evidence:

New blogs and new evidence can be shared between the teacher being coached (Claire Barlow here), the coach (Nina Farriday here) and the Line Manager (Claire Miles-Hayler here):
