How do I close a review?

Overview

At the end of the review period the review can be closed (you will only be able to close the review if you have been assigned the user rights to do so).

Instructions

Before a review can be closed you must ensure everything within the review has been addressed and all the data is correct:

It is first necessary to update the status of all objectives from 'In Progress' to either 'Met', 'Not Met', or 'Partially Met’

By default in SchooliP, 'Partially Met' does not mean completed. This can be changed by your Administrator by editing the Objective Status within Objective Settings and then clicking on the Objective Status tab, then selecting the status you wish to edit. The following screen should appear

From here, check 'Are objectives with this status considered complete?' to make the Objective Status classed as complete.

The ‘Monitoring’ has to have taken place (or have been deleted)

The ‘Areas for Development’ have to be set to ‘Completed’ or ‘Not Achieved

All ‘Standards’ must be rated

To Close the Review:

Go to ‘My Staff’ on the main menu

Select the staff member's name whose review you wish to close

At the top of the staff member’s portfolio screen, click ‘Close Review’

Actions

Pay Progression

Here indicate whether the staff member should be recommended for pay progression and add any additional comments in the textbox

Succession Planning

This section allows you to indicate the staff member's career aspirations and your recommendations as their reviewer

Staff Agreement

To finally close the review in the ‘Staff Agreement’ tab, the line manager and the staff member must enter their passwords

Click ‘Close Review’
