Why are Standard objectives not being added?

Overview

This guide will explain why Standard objectives are not being added to a staff member's portfolio, and how to ensure they will be added.

Instructions

When bulk assigning Standard Objectives through the Objective Settings, you may notice that certain staff members are not being assigned the objectives. This is because the Roles column as seen below, means the only users that will get these Standard Objectives assigned to them will be those with the role at the time

This may not be how you want to apply these, since you may be performing the bulk action before all the staff members have had their roles set. The Standard objectives will only be assigned to those with the affiliated roles at the time, and otherwise the objectives will not be assigned to users.

The best solution for this is to assign the roles first according to the Standard Objective's roles field, and then complete the bulk action after they have their roles assigned.
