Why can't I add monitoring to a member of staff?

This is attributed to the observer not having the setting 'classroom' observer' in their personal settings - administrator settings required to allow a staff member to be set up with classroom observer rights

Adding Monitoring shows but unable to choose a member of staff

The review for the member of staff is not open as the monitoring needs a review to be saved and stored, or you don't have the right to access monitoring for that member of staff due to you not being the line manager or in the hierarchy for the member of staff.  You will need to be added as a collaborator to the member of staff. Adding Monitoring shows but can't link to the required monitoring form

The member of staff or monitoring form is not set up with the correct iP role. - when staff is set up in iP they are linked to a specific iP role. Monitoring forms are also linked to a specific iP role. The member of staff and the monitoring form iP role need to be the same to allow a member of staff to be observed with a specific form.
