Overview
This process enables a self-monitoring form that staff members can complete independently within the system
Instructions
1. Setting the Form as Self-Monitoring
To enable a form for self-monitoring:

Click the edit pencil icon next to the form you want to update

In the form editor, select the Options tab

Tick the checkbox for ‘Self Monitoring’

Next, go to the Roles tab
-
Tick the checkboxes for each role that should have access to complete the form

Click Save
✅ The form is now set up as a self-monitoring form.
2. Enabling User Rights
To allow staff to access and add self-monitoring forms:

Edit the relevant rights group

Under the Monitoring section, ensure the following permissions are ticked:

Access Monitoring Section
-
Add Own Monitoring
-
3. Assigning the Classroom Observer Role
Staff need the Classroom Observer role in order to complete self-monitoring forms.
To check and assign this role:

Go to Users > Staff Management
-
Click the settings icon on the right-hand side of the screen

Click the Red X icon to filter and view staff who do not currently have this role

Look for the eye icon on each staff profile:

Grey eye = Role not enabled
-
Green eye = Role enabled
-

To enable the role:
-
Drag the green tick onto the staff member’s profile picture

Or click the down arrow next to the tick and select ‘Apply to All’
