Adding Monitoring for Staff Members you don’t manage

The best way to add monitoring for a staff member you don’t manage is by altering your user rights.

To do this go to the settings tab on the main menu, then select staff.

Instructions

 

 

Once the staff settings page has loaded from the menu go to standard user rights.

 

Select the group the staff member who wants to add monitoring is a part of, and click on the edit pencil next to the standard user rights group.

Once loaded go to the settings section here you will need to enable the ‘Access my Reports’ right this will then allow you to activate the following rights in the monitoring section. 

Still, on the 'Edit Standard Rights' page, go to the 'Monitoring' tab in the menu. Ensure that the following rights are ticked: 'Add Lesson Monitoring for All Staff,' 'Access Monitoring Overview Grid,' 'Access Monitoring Breakdown,' 'Access Monitoring Overview Charts,' 'Access Monitoring Breakdown Charts,' and 'Access Monitoring Question Comments Tab'.

 

Once this is done, go to my reports and from the drop-down menu go to monitoring. 

 

Here you will be able to see any monitoring you have carried out or need to for your staff, the staff you line manage, any monitoring you have done for staff you don’t manage or any staff you collaborate with for monitoring, to add select add monitoring.

 

The drop-down shows any staff members with an open review in this academic year. If a staff member is not listed, their review has either not been started or has not been agreed upon.

The forms will only show the forms that match the staff member's role.

Once filled out. Select Add to add the monitoring form or Run Now to complete the form now
