Overview
If a review period is for an academic year or longer then you may wish to perform one or more interim reviews during the review period. These enable you to monitor the progress your staff are making and offer advice and encouragement, possibly adding further objectives and areas for development. As with full reviews it is recommended you perform these when your reviewee is sitting with you.
Instructions
Practical Task:

From My Staff select the staff member and go to their Portfolio

Select the Interim Reviews tab

From the top right of the screen, select Add Interim Review
The following screen should pull up:
Note you cannot save an interim review part way through, so you may wish to make updates to the full review before you run an interim review.
Practical Task:

With the Add Interim Review screen open on the Details tab enter a title and text in the Details area

Move to the Objectives tab and note you can update the statuses of the listed objectives if you wish 3. Move to the Monitoring tab and see which monitoring has been performed - you cannot alter any data on this tab

Move to the Standards tab and note you can update the statuses of the standards if you wish

Move to the Areas for Development tab and note you can update the status of any items

Move to the CPD tab and see the list of courses - you cannot alter any data on this tab

Update at least one status on either the Objectives, Standards or Areas for Development tabs

Move to the Staff Agreement tab and enter both passwords

Note the pop-up question (screenshot below): Would you like to save these modifications to actual review period? - Answer Yes

Click Add to record this interim review
Notice the review now displays in the main area and the Interim Reviews count is one. The reviewee will also see this interim review when they visit their portfolio. You can edit or delete the interim review but your reviewee can only view it.
